Kitchen Helper

We are currently in search of 2 Kitchen Helpers for our esteemed client, an authentic Indian restaurant situated in Lisbon. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in supporting the cook and ensuring the delivery of delectable Indian dishes to our valued customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment consistently.
- Execute dishwashing duties with precision, ensuring proper cleaning and sanitization of all dishes and utensils.
- Assist the cook in various food preparation tasks, including cutting vegetables, marinating meats, and other responsibilities as directed.
- Keep a vigilant eye on inventory levels, ensuring an adequate supply of kitchen essentials.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene standards.
- Contribute to the aesthetic presentation of dishes during plating.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the cook or management team.

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of Indian cuisine is advantageous.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while efficiently managing multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a knack for following instructions.
