Construction Project Manager

Reports to the Development Director and collaborate closely to understand project goals, timelines, and budgetary constraints, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Manage the complete construction project lifecycle, from initial planning to final handover, ensuring adherence to design, quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate and supervise construction activities, including contractors, subcontractors, vendors to ensure successful delivery of project.
- Conduct regular inspections, site visits, and quality checks to ensure project progress aligns with the established benchmarks and standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify and address issues.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments. Prepares detailed progress reports and other project-related documentation to the Development Director and executive team.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, procurement, and construction, to coordinate project activities and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Manage and oversee project implementation, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and client requirements.
- Plan and organize travel to other countries where company projects are being developed, overseeing and inspecting these projects to ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management or a relevant field of work.
- Project Engineering / Project Management experience of construction / redevelopment projects.
- Experience in hotel projects will be a plus although not a prerequisite.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to international project sites as required.
- Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and solve problems in dynamic and challenging environments.
- Excellent planning and problem-solving skills.
- Team player with leadership abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English
