We are looking to hire a Legal Counsel to support senior lawyers and provide legal advice on commercial activities, sales and marketing, product development, roll out and expansion in West Europe, with a specific focus in Portugal. You will have the opportunity to draft and manage terms of use for truly global products in the field of transportation and sharing economy and deal with topics such as privacy, consumer protection, marketing, intellectual property, payment services and advertising. You will use strong business acumen to assist with scalable product strategies while assessing and mitigating the legal and compliance risks of Bolt. You will thrive in an international business working environment in which Bolt is building the future of mobility and tech-enabled services that are moving society forward.
**Your daily adventures will include**:
- Drafting and managing public-facing terms of use, consumer disclosures, FAQs for products in the specific territories that you will oversee.
- Drafting and negotiating various agreements.
- Drafting and managing product-specific Intranet resources (playbooks, FAQs and product supply-chain contracts) for internal stakeholders.
- Providing day-to-day legal advice across both the Delivery and Mobility businesses to internal stakeholders such as operational, product, business development, advertising, and local sales teams.
- Coordinating advice with cross-functional stakeholders, including members of Tax, Privacy, Policy and Legal Team.
- Developing proactive product-oriented relationships with the above teams to stay ahead of the curve.
- Reviewing products, features, and initiatives to provide advice consistent with legal and regulatory obligations of Bolt in Portugal.
- Staying up to date with legislative developments, anticipating legal and commercial risks and advising and assisting the business to prepare for them.
- Managing and coordinating external legal support.**What we are looking for**:
- You have completed a legal qualification from a reputable law school.
- You have between 1 to 5 years of experience, preferably at a law firm or an international company.
- Prior in-house experience preferred.
- Ideally, your work experience includes legal support to tech-enabled products.
- You are fluent in Portuguese and English.
- You are excellent at legal drafting.
- You are well at home with consumer protection and legal aspects of the Gig Economy.
- You are an analytical thinker who loves to solve problems.
- You are organised and you deliver your work on time.
