At the end of the 1980s, we extended ours beyond the Middle East and acquired land in Portugal for the construction of a sterile factory for injectable pharmaceutical products. This was an important turning point for the company, and our first step into a new region. Today, in Portugal, we have more than 900 employees and 3 factories for the production of injectable medicines.

Hikma, intends to recruit a **Supervisor, Sterility Assurance** (M/F) to integrate **Quality Unit** Department, **on-site work.**

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Provide directions to SA team using short-term objectives, general policies and management guidance
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and testing specifications. Monitor the testing techniques of EM personnel and ensure the accuracy of all records and documentation is done in the EM lab
- Review /approve EM trend report, deviations, risk assessments
- Evaluate sterile operators aseptic technique behavior. Assist with training of manufacturing personnel in response to adverse environmental data
- Review and approve Media Fill rationales and protocols
- Approve routine Media Fill reports Approve calibration/qualification of results and reports of equipments with impact on sterility assurance

**Profile**:

- Degree in microbiology, biotechnology or biological Sciences
- At least 5 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical laboratories and namely in Quality is essential
- Specific work experience in Microbiology department will be a plus
- Prior team leader experience is required
- 3 - 5 years’ experience of similar functions and team management
- Good analytical and organizational skills and should have the ability to think critically
- Capability of working under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Ability to work as part of a team
