Your day at Ferring
As a Program Manager for Infrastructure and Security (I&S) you will be responsible for initiation, design, and implementation of major strategic programs while also having the chance to impact the strategic agenda within I&S. The key strategic program you would be responsible for, has the purpose of rebuilding the entire Manufacturing IT Infrastructure from scratch across Ferring - and it would be your task to ensure on-time, high quality project delivery with accountability for budget, and customer satisfaction across the program. This includes to:
- Define and implement corporate processes within the program to ensure control of business and liaise with other ongoing global programs to streamline processes and manage dependencies.- Provide program leadership, establish robust financial and risk controls and implement process improvements across the program as well as forward planning for capacity management.- Oversee financial management of delegated budgets and approve program resourcing and investment decisions.- Support customer liaison and escalation ensuring value for money.- Establish clear success measures for evaluating results and monitoring them throughout the lifecycle of the program (e.g., KPI, SLA).- Manage planning of business and capacity needs, including resourcing.- Ensure that the program adheres to Ferring company standards including relevant SOPs and relevant GxP Compliance requirements.- Develop stakeholder management and strategic partnerships.- Challenge and motivate program team member to deliver high performance and establishing a customer focused culture.
Your new team
You would be joining a newly formed team, Strategy & Demand Management, of IT Demand and Project Managers in Ferring’s Infrastructure and Security area. A team where you will - besides be delivering on the programs you are assigned, also have the chance to impact the I&S overall strategy and how we run projects, programs and initiatives going forward.
In the program, you will be working with a newly established TechOps (Manufacturing in Ferring) IT Infrastructure team with the overall responsibility to define, pilot, implement, and eventually operate a new greenfield industry best-practice Manufacturing IT infrastructure. The TechOps IT Infrastructure team is part of the Infrastructure & Security organization in Global IT, with team members primarily working out of the Global IT headquarter in Copenhagen, Denmark and out of Lisbon, Portugal. The team consists of highly skilled and experienced individuals who thrives in a team setting and wants to succeed around the same mission.
Travel is to be expected in this position.
Behind our innovation There’s you- University degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration or similar.- 10+ years relevant work experience in project and program management within the infrastructure and security domain.- Proven track record of managing successful programs or projects in a manufacturing IT and Operational Technology setting, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.- Strategic thinker- Experience in working with external IT service providers and in vendor management.- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.- Experience in industry regulations (GxP) is an advantage.- Knowledge with Agile Scrum methodology or working within a Safe Framework is an advantage.- Excellent organizational, coordination, interpersonal and communication skills and experience working in an international team across locations and time-zones.- Fluency in English.
