AGENCY TRANSFER SETTLEMENT TEAM LEADER (JOB NUMBER: 2305CBO14911)

**About the job**
- The Agency Transfer Settlement Officer Team Leader will lead the Settlement team, who manages primary debt transfers (syndication) and secondary debt transfers (trading) on leveraged facilities closed by Paris Hub Credit Event Managers. Within CIB ITO Global Banking Operations, CIB Agency EMEA act as Facility Agent on syndicated loans set up by all Capital Markets business lines (Debt Market, Leveraged Debt Platform, Energy Resources & Infrastructures, Asset Finance, etc.). The role of the Agent is to coordinate all flows relating to a syndicated loan (financial and information) and to act as an interface between the borrowers and their lenders

**Your Main Activities Are**
- Setting up and managing the team, in close collaboration with the Head of Agency Lisbon hub and Paris management, treating primary debt transfers (syndication) and secondary debt transfers (trading)
- Managing the Settlement team by assessing training needs, structuring and fostering cohesion, reporting results and managing workload (allocating, controlling)
- Primary transfers (under the supervision of Credit Events Managers): Implements primary operations in ClearPar in liaison with the Credit Events Manager and the syndication desk; Verifies the existence in the due diligence databases and onboarding; Controls the existence in the system and instructions for the creation of third parties, if necessary; Organizes settlements; Communicates with buyers, co-arrangers and agents as appropriate; Provides instructions to the back office for booking and follow-up of incoming and outgoing payments; Maintains tracking files up to date
- Secondary transfers (under the supervision of Agency Relationship Managers): Receipt of deeds of transfer; Controls deeds of transfer; Verification of the existence in the due diligence databases and onboarding if necessary; Control the existence in the system and instructions for the creation of third parties if necessary; Organizes settlements; Communicates with buyers and sellers; Provide instructions to the back office for recording and monitoring the receipt of payments

**Profile and Skills to Success**
- Master’s Degree I Economics / Finance and/or Accounting
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience
- Advanced level of English, both written and oral
- Knowledge in MS Office Pack (Excel and Powerpoint)
- Ability to collaborate / teamwork
- Attention to detail / rigor
- Client focused
- Analytical Ability
