Portfolio: Reloading's solution portfolio is divided into two areas that respond to the established offering model and are as follows:
Training: All offerings always require a primary assessment to tailor Reloading's approach to the client. This process aims to adapt our offerings to the specific needs and requirements of each client.
Consultancy: Consultancy is aimed at clients of an entrepreneurial nature.

**About the client**:
Information technology accompanies the route of every GLS parcel: a parcel from a grandma in Hamburg to her grandson in Sicily. Entire goods delivered from manufacturers to retailers. Whether it is parcel routing or a mobile app - there is always highly developed IT behind it. GLS IT is responsible for the tools and systems involved. Our employees organize the IT for more than 840 million parcels in 41 country subsidiaries and partners at over 1600 locations. Job Overview We are looking for a self-driven and versatile **Manager Process Engineer** to join an interesting multi-project environment, which will make you an important IT leadership team member in our company, reporting directly to the Senior Manager Development Center Portugal (IT Germany).

**Job Overview**

The Manager Process Engineer is a crucial member of the Software Delivery Management team, responsible for leading an engineering team focused on middleware technologies. This role requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of middleware systems, tasked with developing and executing a middleware engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap. You will oversee approximately 10 engineers, fostering their professional growth, optimizing team performance, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software across various GLS products.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- **Team Leadership**: Lead a team of approximately 10 engineers, focusing on their ongoing personal and professional development. Ensure they are effectively integrated into agile product teams for optimal performance.
- **Middleware Strategy Development**: Craft and implement the vision, strategy, and roadmap for middleware engineering within your area of responsibility. Contribute to the development and support of associated platforms.
- **Process Optimization**: Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, ensuring efficiency, synergy, and high output. Optimize the use of technologies, tools, and processes to enhance team performance.
- **High-Output Delivery**: Maintain a high-output delivery environment across various GLS products, ensuring that the engineering team consistently meets or exceeds performance standards.
- **Collaboration and Synergy**: Work closely with other departments to maximize synergies and ensure alignment with broader organizational goals. Provide expert advisory to enhance overall team efficiency and output.

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- **Educational Background**: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- **Experience**: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, including initial experience as an engineering manager.
- **Middleware Expertise**: Strong experience and deep knowledge of middleware technologies, including but not limited to API Management Gateways, Orchestration, Governance, Documentation, Streaming, Messaging, Application Servers, Microservice Architecture, and related patterns.
- **Business Process Management**: Experience with Business Process Management (BPM) and Business Rule Engines (BRE).
- **Platform Engineering**: Knowledge or experience in platform engineering is a plus.
- **Agile Mindset**: Passionate about agile values and principles, with a focus on people and technology.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent communication and listening skills, with fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- **Leadership Passion**: Strong desire to shape and lead high-performing development teams.
- **Willingness to Travel**: Availability for travel as required.
