**WE ARE RECRUITING A NDT INSPECTOR WITH ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL EXPERTISE, TO WORK IN FRANCE ON A WIND ENERGY PROJECT**

**JOB OVERVIEW**:

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Conduct NDT inspections on wind turbine components, including blades, gearboxes, generators, and nacelle covers, with a focus on both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Utilize various NDT methods such as ultrasonic testing, visual inspection, and liquid penetrant inspection.
- Interpret and analyse NDT results to determine the condition of components and identify any defects or issues, as well as evaluate electrical and mechanical systems for proper operation.
- Prepare inspection reports and communicate findings to project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing recommendations for repairs or maintenance
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations, as well as new NDT techniques and technologies
- Maintain NDT equipment and ensure it is in good working order.
- Collaborate with other inspection and maintenance teams to ensure the safe and efficient operation of wind turbines.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of NDT processes


**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in NDT inspection, with a focus on wind energy components and expertise in both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Level 2 or Level 3 certification in multiple NDT methods, such as ASNT, PCN, or SNT-TC-1A.
- Strong knowledge of NDT techniques, including ultrasonic testing, visual inspection, and liquid penetrant inspection.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare inspection reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
- Familiarity with wind turbine components, electrical and mechanical systems, and the wind energy industry is a plus.
