Construction Project Manager

Our client is the worlds largest family-run specialist for industrial, medical and specialty gases with offices in Lisboa. At this moment they intend to integrate in their structure a **Construction Project Manager** (M/F).
Reporting to Project Manager Leader and also to Technical Manager both in Spain will have has **main tasks**
- Manage and cooperate with all parties involved to the assigned construction project (internal and external stakeholders, developers/subcontractors), especially with the main contractors and suppliers to ensure timelines and budgets are kept in control;
- Coordinate and perform activities such as developing of project budgets, track site activities, project schedules, Invoicing, bank/payment guarantees, documentation requirements;
- Support the various contract negotiations for a successful project, followed by identification of the critical baseline and all the necessary external support;
- Identify, implement and monitor improvement and/or corrective actions throughout project management (schedule, scope, cost, quality, safety);
- Report to the Administration all stages of the projects, reporting to financial, legal included. Internal reporting must include potential risks and precautions regarding the construction, licenses or contracts;
- Participate in optimizations/modifications to the technical approach to the projects, namely in terms of scope, time and cost;
- Coordination of the technical studies required to file the different authorizations to build and operate a gases industrial plant;
- Follow up the correct execution of the construction in all the stages. Collect, examine, approve and integrate any modification on the initial project.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Mechanical, Eletromechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering;
- At least 3 years experience on the Contractor, Supervisory or Project Manager side;
- Previous experience in the air gases sector is a plus;
- Responsible for managing, planning, monitoring and supervising projects during the construction phase; Able to determine potential risks and draw up a plan to deal with them even before the start of a project;
- Proficient in English is a requeirement and Spanish is a plus;
- Knowledge of design programmes and visualisation skills (Microsoft Project and Autocad);
- Excellent communicator capable of motivating a team, working within a large organisation while liaising with external partners as needed;
- Analytical mindset.
