**Job Description**:
**Your contribution to something big**:
Within Bosch Home Comfort division you will be part of a team responsible for the architecture of IoT solutions within our product portfolio (heat pumps, boilers, water heaters and air conditioners). You will work closely with cross-functional teams (such as mobile app, web and firmware development teams), stakeholders, and partners to identify and analyze business requirements for IoT solutions in the heating and cooling domain:
- Make architecture decisions based on criteria such as business, security, usability, and scalability;
- Identify bottlenecks in the architecture and propose solutions to address them;
- Define system interfaces and work with cross-functional teams to ensure their proper implementation;
- Ensure the integrity and security of IoT products and infrastructure;
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members;
- Stay up-to-date with emerging IoT technologies and trends and recommend innovative solutions.
**On a typical day you will work on**:
- Analysis of customer and business needs, relevant legislation, and standards to develop the system requirement specifications;
- Develop architecture views to represent the overall architecture in a meaningful way to the stakeholders;
- Work closely with other engineering disciplines to design and develop the system architecture;
- Make architecture decisions by analyzing requirements and contexts, setting criteria, proposing options, and guiding decisions;
- Support engineering teams with system architecture knowledge.
**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar;
- Background in IoT architecture and backend infrastructures;
- Experience with requirements engineering;
- Experience with system interfaces and API design;
- Knowledge on Cloud based infrastructure;
- Familiarity with IoT security protocols and best practices;
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and partners;
- Great communication and interpersonal skills;
- Pro-active, dynamic and responsible attitude;
- Willingness to travel;
- Fluent in English.
