Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
- To enable a people eco system around moments that matter - delivering value at every touchpoint and provide HR service and support to defined support area.
Active support in the GBS Roadmap implementation. Manages and acts as a key contributor for local or global HR projects and initiatives.- Key Responsibilities and General Accountabilities:
- Trusted advisor to people on all people related matters. Coach and mentor Line Managers to be empowered around people, engagement and performance topics/decisions
- Build and maintain a close relationship with the management team to ensure business needs are taken into account when developing HR initiatives and HR standards, ensuring these processes are fully understood and implemented in GBS Porto
- Recommend, implement and update guidelines and policies in order to ensure relevant HR services in compliance with global and local standards
- Work with management team in structuring and developing their respective teams in accordance with Org Design principles
- Support implementation of GBS Roadmap from an HR Perspective
- Define and implement together with TA the hiring strategy for new areas and during transitions
- Manage personnel planning, annual salary rounds and promotions / salary adjustments in accordance with global policy for own area of responsibility
- Implement and manage key HR processes, including Recruiting & Selection, Appraisal, Team Line Up, Training Planning and new hires training and integration
- Develop and support implementation of employee related activities to ensure / promote engagement, motivation and an enthusiastic work environment
- Ensure maintenance of SAP OM and PA

- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- HR Capabilities: Individual and collective labor law. HR Subject Matter Expert, use of HR metrics, change delivery support, organizational design, maintains external perspective, anticipating people trends, employee relations. Basic knowledge around workforce planning
- Experience in GBS Environment and fast paced organizations
- Business Capabilities: Commercial awareness, customer focus, understanding HR strategy, understanding business, its value chain and key processes
- Consulting Capabilities: Brokering solutions to meet business needs, ability to sell HR solutions to the business, trusted advisor, small group facilitation, coaching skills, project input and delivery
- A good team player with basic management skills
- Customer oriented, approachable and strong interpersonal skills, basic coaching skills
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
- Confident, creative and collaborative within the team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation and facilitation skills to employees and small groups
- Supports innovation and supports the development of new ideas, approaches and methods
- Is open to new approaches and supports change actively
- Shows understanding of the overall strategy and the relevance for tasks
- Builds sound arguments, has a clear opinion and conveys ideas to the point
- Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree in Social Sciences, Psychology or Human Resources, Law
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in a similar function for a multi-national company as HR Business Partner
