**ABOUT YOUR ROLE**:
As a Payroll Assistant at Cluster, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliance with tax and labor regulations.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Processing payroll accurately and on time, following Portuguese labor laws.
- Using advanced Excel skills to analyze payroll data, generate reports, and spot discrepancies.
- Collaborating with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies.
- Staying up-to-date with tax laws, social security regulations, and labor legislation.
- Assisting in improving and enhancing payroll processes.
- Providing timely support to employees with payroll inquiries.
- Verifying and validating employee absenteeism and justifications.
- Handling any other payroll or finance duties as needed.

**To excel in this role, you should have**:

- Strong knowledge of Taxes & Social Security regulations.
- Familiarity with Portuguese labor legislation.
- At least 1 year of experience in Portuguese payroll processing.
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and pivot tables.
- An analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Experience with Submitting AT/SS Declarations (DMR, DRI) is a plus.
