HR TRAINEE

We are a global energy leader, the number one of wind power, and one of the world’s biggest electricity utilities, and we are looking for HR Trainee with academic knowledge in Human Resources.

This temporary position will be reporting to the Head of HR and will be included in the HR Department at Iberdrola Portugal (Renewables, Clientes and Tâmega).

Location: Lisbon office, Portugal.

MAIN DEVELOPMENT AREAS
- Supporting the recruitment process with help of external partners or internal references, conducting the process initial stages and be the bridge of the selection regarding our manager’s needs (CVs evaluation and initial interviews).
- Giving support to HR Team regarding the Workday HR system.
- Payroll support to HR Dept Portugal, Corporate Team Payroll support, and when necessary, also employees’ support.
- Employee’s technical/ administrative requests support, as doubts on procedures and processes.
- Collaboration on HR related projects according to the business local needs and corporate level.
- Portal HR PT and external partnerships update.
- Support the HR local Team members, on the implementation of local policies, procedures, processes and projects, in the several areas such as: training, benefits, onboarding, Portuguese labour law activities, reports production related with HR areas, among others and what’s applicable.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
EDUCATION
- University degree in Psychology, Sociology, HR or related area. Master’s degree or specialization in HR will be an advantage.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL SKILLS / SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:

- Advance user in MS Office (excel, PowerPoint, word, outlook) and Teams
- Knowledge of HR Systems and SAP (Workday would be a plus)
- Excellent communication, diplomatic and patient. Ability to interact with employees, vendors, colleagues with several nationalities and cultures.
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
- Proactive attitude, and ability to anticipate risks.
- Solution oriented, rigorous, autonomous, organized, high attention to detail and analytical personality.
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic, diverse, and complex working environment.
- Strong sense of values and ethics, and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.

LANGUAGES:

- Portuguese (native)
- English (professional competence)
- Spanish is a plus
