**Software Automation Internship (Internship)**

As an intern, you will be involved in the execution of Synopsys’ IP ASIC portfolio (USB, PCIe, MPHY). You will work in an international organization developing innovative products using the most advanced technologies and workflow methodologies around the world.
- You will be revamping the workflow of Synopsys’ IP ASIC portfolio, helping to improve efficiency, automate tasks and increase the quality of the final product by reducing manual input and preventing human error.
- You will work in scripting and version control software with the objective to improve and automate ASIC platform development and its associated software development tools.**Main duties might include**:

- Review workflow, quality assurance processes and methodologies to identify improvements and efficiency gains
- Refine scripts and processes that can be automated and updated
- Participate in the design and verification workflow of Synopsys’ IP ASIC portfolio
- Evaluate and troubleshoot limitations in the current development environment
- Interaction with the state-of-the-art software tools used for Synopsys’ IP ASIC portfolio development
- Documentation of script, software and environment changes planned
- Other related duties as assigned by the upper manager

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Typically requires a degree in Engineering or Applied Science
- Experience in producing high-quality technical documentation
- Good Organizational skills
- Willingness to learn
- Basic knowledge on automation tools such as Jenkins and Make
- Programming languages such as Python would be advantageous
- Experience working in UNIX/LINUX environments would be advantageous
- Programming languages such as Perl, TCL, SQL, JavaScript would be an added bonus
- Basic knowledge on version control tools would be an added bonus

**Duration**
- 9-12 Months
