Purpose of the job:
Give input and execute the market approach for
- General sales products EU & UK
- Licensing products EU* - in teamwork with Licensing Manager

based on the category‘s marketing strategy, insights in the relevant markets and profound consumer understanding.

Manage the product and brand portfolios in the respective countries.

Ensure the translation of customer & consumer needs into NPD process and successful execution of resulting projects

Result areas:

- Plan, develop and prepare the launch of new concepts/products according to budget, commercial calendar, strategy, development brief and approved business parameters
- Create SKUs and approve products in line with actual customer & consumer understanding
- Ensure delivery of SKUs and products in line with AOP and/or licensor expectations
- Determine and effectively manage critical paths, key milestones and potential hurdles/bottlenecks
- Propose actions to solve any deviations when they occur assuring on time / in full project delivery
- Effective leadership and influence of cross-functional project teams
- Analyse financial documentation relating to Project Business cases
- Analyses performance of existing/launched SKUs and summarises post launch reviews as appropriate
- Evaluate objectively the marketing activities under responsibility and make sure profitability and strategy targets are met
- Knowing and understanding of market dynamics in order to foster new opportunities for future profitable growth
- Market and competition analysis / awareness and response
- Close collaboration with sales and channel activation teams
- Take competition input from sales and activation marketing into own program
- Know & manage product portfolio: Actively contribute and support the management of product category performance from an NSV, profitability perspective + range harmonisation / rationalisation and general portfolio management (decomplexity)
- Proper utilisation of annual MDC budget
- Actively contributes and supports the ASB product marketing team

Experience, skills, knowledge:

- Bachelor+ work and thinking level, Marketing
- 5 years experience in the BtoB or B2C food marketing regarding product portfolio management, marketing mix, understanding of consumer & customer intelligence etc.
- Structured mindset in order to characterize the playing field of product, customer, consumer and competitors
- Strong Project management skills
- Fluent written and spoken English, French highly appreciated
