**Supply Chain Service Center** in Lisbon, we are currently looking for a full time position a
**Physical Goods Logistics Specialist.** You will have as main mission to ensure outstanding delivery of 3PL services at right cost by closely and effectively managing the relationship with the 3PL in accordance with the contract terms and following the Nestlé best practices (optimize service at the best E2E cost).

**A day in the life of a Finished Goods Logistics Specialist**
- Deliver Operational Excellence:

- Set adequate target values for service, cost, measured using an agreed KPI set and track continuously KPIs to effectively monitor the 3PL's performance by:

- Implementing, monitoring and managing Safety, Health & Environment, Quality and CARE regulationsand Best Practices; NCE Goal alignment key meetings;
- Solving adequately any occurring warehousing and transport issue;
- Driving initiatives for opportunities to Nestlé's benefit within the relationship with the 3PL
- Budget Management:

- Tracking productivity improvement;
- Driving cost saving initiatives to improve the performance and costs;
- Ensure correct construction, control and management of the budget for warehousing and transport activities (OPEX and CAPEX);
- Responsible for setting an adequate costs dashboard for on-going monitoring
- Ensure an adequate level of flexibility of structures and processes to Influence other functional departments by regularly provide feedback to continuously improve service and cost through:

- Plan and Develop capacities;
- Adapt to changes in the logistics and / or market environment;
- Work as part of the overall HQ Supply Chain Management team in order to improve overall supply chain efficiencies, minimize waste and achieve all KPI’s.
- Excel in compliance
- Ensure compliance with Nestlé Corporate Business Principles and Supply Chain Policies;
- Ensure that legal obligations are met or exceeded (warehousing regulations);
- Ensure that all aspects of our Warehousing operations are compliant with NNHQ policies:

- Organize tenders and select the most suitable transport companies;
- Negotiate contracts with Procurement processes and establish a sound relationship with the service providers including robust conflict management.

**What will make you successful**
- University Degree or equivalent in Supply Chain/Logistics (preferable)
- At least 5 years of relevant and successful operational experience in one or more of the following areas: Warehouse Management; Transportation, Physical Logistics projects
- Relevant operational experience at market/ business level, in Customer Service, Demand and Supply Planning or Finance (business planning, budget control, costs management)
- Has preferentially worked/ been exposed to collaborative business development projects in distribution network redesign, high performance logistics and/or customer logistics
- Has successfully managed relationship with external providers for warehousing, equipment and transport
- Fluent in English, French is a plus;
- Skilled at MS Office (particularly Excel) and SAP
- Strong team player and planning skills
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong flexibility and resilience
- Passion for working with customers both internally and externally
