**Company Description** About Merkle**

You will set the strategic direction for the team, taking ownership of the SEO discipline in the market and partnering with other channels to provide an integrated response to clients and agency goals.

**Main tasks**:

- Develop and author overall team strategy and approach to SEO;
- Ensure best practice, consistency and innovation in all SEO activities; ensure knowledge-sharing across teams;
- Manage client relationships at a macro level and is the main point of escalation for client issues;
- Collaborate with other Leaders to standardize work output and participate in cross-channel strategic planning;
- Ensure profitability of team through resource planning;
- Conduct forecasting for annual and monthly budgets and grows account profitability and medium/long term SEO our vision;
- Anticipate market opportunities and develop/transform product offering to keep it leading edge;
- Contribute to new business development;
- Manage the team supporting them in their development.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor or master’s degree in Marketing, Managements, Business administration, or any other related field;
- Proficiency in English (B2 Level - spoken and written);
- At least 2 to 3 years experience managing a team;
- Work experience with SEO projects, preferred in an agency context;
- Experience managing different projects;
- Hands-on experience with website and SERP measurement tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEM Rush);
- Analytical and important mindset;
- Business oriented vision
- Experience in collaborating independently across functions/ teams and projects;
- Ability and autonomy skills to make decisions.
