**BUT FIRST...**

**You will be enrolling in the 6-week program by joining CTW’s Data Academy starting in November.** In this Academy, you will go through a series of practical modules lectured by our experienced technologists covering the essential steps to build an end-to-end data product in BMW.

**You will create meaningful data solutions that will support the creation of new business values.** To achieve this mission, you will always be curious and enthusiastic about using advanced architecture and technologies to solve problems and inspire others to see the benefits.

**Whatever you’re working on, here’s the lowdown on the skills that will grant you a boost in our selection**:_

- Don’t worry, we’re not looking for a know-it-all, but having at least a couple of these skills will significantly increase your match with our selection criteria. _
- Academic background in IT and/or experience in other areas of Software Engineering
- Basic knowledge of public cloud platforms, especially AWS
- Basic Understanding of IaC tools, such as Terraform
- Ability to code in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
- Basic understanding of a querying language such as SQL
- Basic understanding of Data Bases and Data Modeling
- Some Familiarity with tools in the Big Data ecosystem (like Hadoop, Cassandra, Apache Hive, Apache Spark, and others alike)

**Anything else?**:
Apart from a basic understanding of Software Engineering, a passion for Data and the ability to use a programming language, we are looking for someone who:

- Bring skills that foster a supportive environment, constructive feedback and idea-sharing
- Has excellent oral communication and writing skills (English)
- Has basic experience with agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
- Brings a real passion for learning, doing things better, and helping others
- Is a proactive and self-motivated individual who takes initiative and thrives in a dynamic environment
