The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team for the Americas, supporting the US Chief Risk Officer (US CRO) for the regional platform, has second line of defence responsibility for oversight of the risks of the Natixis Combined US Operations (CUSO). The position will support the US CRO with management of the CUSO risk departments.

The professional sought for this position will be part of the CUSO Governance & Reporting function (within ERM). He/she/they will be part of a team of experienced risk officers that articulate key initiatives and deliver risk assessments to senior risk officers.

The CUSO Risk Business Manager is tasked with core responsibilities as follows:

- Develops and maintains periodic and regular (e.g. monthly) status reporting for FTE Headcount, Financial Expenses, tracking of Audit Recommendations and other staff management actions to support the US CRO in managing the department resources and commitments (i.e. actual performance versus plan).
- Staff communications (e.g. preparing materials for Townhall presentations)
- Enhance consistency and visualization of the reporting for various risk committees.
- Coordinate associated improvement initiatives (related to CUSO enterprise-level risk programs) across technology and other key stakeholder functions.
- Participates in preparing regular and time-sensitive analytics, visualizations and reports to Senior Management, with close collaboration with risk managers in expertise.

This encompasses effective contribution to the design of action plans, reviewing and challenging contributions from senior officers (business and risk), defining methodology and processes, standards, tools, and systems, organizing the data collection and articulating key informational updates for the ERM management team, the individual risk leads and the US CRO.

**Essential duties and responsibilities**

Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Provide support for risk and financial reporting, data management, and technology innovation that is fundamental to management of the risk departments within Natixis Combined US Operations:

- Review key performance metrics (“KPIs”) and consolidate metrics and exceptions; contribute to MIS reporting for Senior Management.
- Update or document Enterprise Risk guidelines and procedures for transversal management activities.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of frameworks, policies and procedures relating to MIS reporting and effectively implement them throughout the CUSO Risk organization.

**Qualifications**
- + Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business, finance or accounting, MBA a plus).
- Understanding and awareness of information technologies and tools utilized for dashboard reporting.
- Up to 3 years’ experience of working in financial services, with previous experience of working in an international bank operating in the US an advantage.
- Advanced knowledge and hands on experience of commonly used tools Microsoft Office suite, with experience in manipulating/analyzing large quantities of data is a plus.
- ** Bilingual in English mandatory / French a plus, but not required.**:

- Experience contributing to mid-to-large scale initiatives in a banking or financial services environment would be beneficial.
- Hard working, diligent (with eye for details) and self-manages work products to ensure accuracy.
- Self-starter with ability to think critically and problem solve.
- Well organized and able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Plans ahead to identify potential scheduling conflicts well in advance in order to avoid future difficulties.
- Ability to learn on-the-job to develop competence and provide task / process leadership.
- Proactive team worker willing to be flexible and adaptable in completing team goals.
