Global Business Services (GBS) develops, maintains and implements standardized transactional processes across Bose, to be delivered from our Lisbon, Portugal Business Services Center (BSC) and supported across other Bose offices worldwide. By closely aligning with internal customers and by partnering with the BSC, GBS manages the delivery of services to achieve our internal business needs by driving efficiencies and effectiveness.
To join our team, we are currently recruiting a Credit & Collections Specialist fluent in English.
The Credit & Collections team is part of the Order to Cash group and is responsible for performing daily activities such as Dunning and Collection, Dispute management and Credit Management, mitigating risk while delivering value to Bose business.
The position
Full-time position
Location: Portugal (Av. Defensores Chaves 45, Lisboa)
What will you do
- Manage day to day Order to Cash Process activities for several different corporate entities, including a timely and accurate account monitoring while providing the highest level of customer service;
- Create and review internal reports, analysis requirements including customer and bank statements on a recurring basis to ensure all issues are identified and addressed in a timely manner;
- Reply to all customer inquiries;
- Reconcile statements, research and correct discrepancies;
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices;
- Assist with other projects as needed.
Who are we looking for
- A professional with experience in the role;
- Significant experience in collection of funds from customers in a B2B environment;
- Autonomous, ready to take initiative, detail-oriented, professional attitude, reliable, with good communications skills;
- Ability to follow-up and follow through with multiple tasks;
Job Requirements
- Graduation in Economy, Business Management, Accounting or Similar;
- Fluent in English and German (written and spoken);
- Background in Microsoft Office, with Excel focus;
- Organizational and Time Management Skills.
