- Executing mid
- to high-value tactical buys and sourcing projects, including supplier negotiations and selection.
- Running eSourcing events in Ariba and coordinating supplier communications.
- Managing Purchase Orders (POs), including terms, conditions, modifications, and closure.
- Ensuring timely follow-ups with internal teams for technical evaluations and compliance with procurement timelines.
- Supporting efforts to reduce tail spend by channelling it through strategic suppliers.
- Providing feedback on tactical buy activities to improve standardization and automation.
- Facilitating automated buying channel setups and assisting with supplier onboarding.
- Updating internal databases, managing procurement documentation, and performing quality checks on contracts and purchase requests.
- WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- University degree in business, economics, finance, procurement or related
- Fluent in English and German, spoken and written on a business level
- At least 5 years of general Procurement area (low to mid-level spending) in a middle-sized or large organization
- Sourcing execution strategies, approaches and methods, as well as contract management and procure-to-pay processes
- Proven experience in supplier selection, negotiation and contracting areas
- Experience in stakeholder management (internal & external)
- Experience in cost comparison analysis and scorecard preparation
