**Our GBS is looking for an General Ledger Specialist to be based in Santa Maria da Feira.**

RECORD TO REPORT

Record to report is a team segregated into two different areas, Tax and General Ledger. We are a team focused in financial reporting, playing an instrumental role within the business, from **developing** best practice, **delivering** strategic and process **improvement** projects, and helping the company reach its goals in a sustainable and efficient way.

SANTA MARIA DA FEIRA

Our office is located in Portugal's medieval city, that is part of the metropolitan area of Porto, known for its historical monuments. The access to the northern highway (A1) is 3 minutes away from our office.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for activities related to the **reporting** of the Group, balance sheet **critical analysis**, as well as support for the preparation of the annual **consolidated financial statements** and related disclosures according to Local and IFRS principles.

You will report directly to accounting coordinators having an important role for the accountancy of our company, working together with **worldwide teams** to achieve Group goals

**What you will aim to do**
- Ensure monthly closing and reporting to Group Consolidation;
- Provide inter/ intracompany reconciliations;
- Provide support on the external audit;
- Prepare balance sheet accounts review and presentation analysis;
- Support preparation of Financial Statements;
- Project analysis and risk assessment;
- Manage Fixed Asset registration;
- Ensure fiscal declarations and Tax computation;
- Manage subvention follow-up;
- Guarantee that controls are carried out, recorded and are working efficiently and promptly.

**_ Who you are_**
- A professional with degree in management, economics, accounting or auditing;
- Having knowledge of Microsoft package user, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
- With good communication skills - English (mandatory), French (valued);
- Being motivated to work as a team with an international mind-set;
- Be innovative and seek to improve processes using IT tools.
