As an Electrolyser Technology Specialist within the Power to X Group, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support in the development of various Power to X projects, and specifically to several green hydrogen and green ammonia projects within Europe and Africa. In particular, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and optimization of electrolyser systems for our green hydrogen and green ammonia projects and you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, developers, and project managers, as well as external stakeholders, partners and original equipment manufacturers, to ensure the effective implementation of electrolyser technology and contribute to conducting feasibility studies, designing process layouts, specifying equipment requirements, and performing preliminary engineering tasks.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Conduct research and analysis on electrolyser technology, including different types of electrolysis systems, components, materials, and emerging trends;
- Design and optimize electrolyser systems for efficient and cost-effective green hydrogen and green ammonia production;
- Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate electrolyser systems into green hydrogen projects, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance;
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on electrolyser technology to internal stakeholders, project teams, and external partners;
- Perform feasibility studies, techno-economic analysis, and risk assessments to evaluate the viability and scalability of electrolyser systems for specific projects;
- Support the development of project proposals, including the technical aspects of electrolyser technology, project timelines, and cost estimations;
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to electrolyser systems, identify root causes, and implement appropriate solutions;
- Contribute to the preparation and review of technical reports, white papers, and publications related to electrolyser technology and renewable energy projects;
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in electrolysis technology, industry standards, regulations, and market trends related to green hydrogen and green ammonia;
- Collaborate with external partners, suppliers, and research institutions to leverage expertise and foster innovation in electrolyser technology;
- Foster a culture of safety and quality during the development of the projects.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Master’s degree in Process, Industrial or Chemical Engineering or a related field;
- More than 5 years’ experience in electrolyser technology, with a focus on various electrolysis systems (such as alkaline, PEM, and solid oxide), stack design, catalysts, and materials;
- Proven track record of designing and optimizing electrolyser systems for green hydrogen or green ammonia production;
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols related to electrolyser technology and hydrogen production;
- Proficiency in simulation software, such as Aspen Plus, COMSOL, or equivalent, for modeling and optimization of electrolyser systems;
- Fluent in English (Arabic, French, Portuguese, or Spanish a plus);
- This role can be based in France, Portugal, Spain, or UK.
