Job Profile- Euronext is currently looking for a Head of IT Operations to manage the work related with our Operations Teams.- Euronext as a Market Infrastructure is responsible to manage critical infrastructures in several countries, specially in Europe.- This role is crucial to guarantee the stability of those critical services and requires a strong coordination with the business and as well with the related technology teams.- The role is to manage not just the ITIL competencies but as well manage a 24X7 team that supports those businesses.- It requires to structure a Governance that delivers a proper reporting to the business lines and as well to the IT stakeholders.- Key Accountabilities- As a Head of IT Operations, you will:
- Manage internal Teams associated to Production Services Department across Euronext locations;
- Plan, review and determine a Production schedule for Operations Services;
- Follow the best practices namely ITIL and ISO 20000;
- Oversees operational systems, processes, and infrastructure while looking for opportunities of improvement or revision;
- Manages day to day business of the IT Operations Teams
- Plays a significant role in long-term planning, project status reporting, and implementing improvements on the Operations Teams
- Oversees and reports weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics;
- Identifies trends and assess opportunities to improve processes and execution;
- Collaborates with other back-office team members to ensure seamless business execution, reinforce positive morale, and uphold company values;
- Collaborates with transitions and onboarding team as needed;
- Raises and tracks issues and conflicts, remove barriers, resolve issues of medium complexity involving stakeholders and escalate to appropriate level when required;
- Assesses a variety of situations and provide clarity to team and stakeholders;
- Establishes and maintains credible, professional relationships with clients, internal business lines, etc.;
- Solicits and responds to feedback while gaining commitment and support;
- Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required- Euronext is looking at the following profile:
- 10+years of leadership experience in similar roles in Complex Environments;
- Background in areas related with troubleshooting;
- Knowledge of Financial Environment is a plus;
- Hungry: passionate about the job, motivated by challenges, willing to transform, hands-on, focused on delivery;
- Strong sense of service, transparent in case of difficulties;
- Logical;
- Active listener and with a very structured/coherent and organized speech, being capable of communicating complex technical topics to a wide variety of audiences;
- Strong leadership and management abilities;
- Ability to lead Operational Teams cross Group Companies and with different scopes of a complex nature;
- Demonstrated critical thinking and willingness for improvements;
- Ability to translate strategic plans into specific objectives, and to create and execute project plans to achieve objectives;
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, ability to understand the business needs, embrace Euronext culture;
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills;
- Ability to interact with senior management elements and influence decision makers;
- Availability to travel;
- Fluent in English. French and other European languages, including Portuguese, is a plus.
