**About the team:
We’re looking for a
**Project Manager** to join project management and operations (PMO) in Web Summit.

PMO is part of event operations, and is central to creating world-class attendee experiences on a global scale. Designers, event coordinators, producers, stage managers and many others work hand-in-hand to produce every element, from stages and exhibitions to live operations and attendee experience for all of our events.

**What you'll achieve at Web Summit**:

- You’ll be responsible for the co-planning of our events, working closely with event producers.
- You’ll identify areas of improvement, continuously reviewing every part of the change management flow.
- You’ll drive innovation, manage change, and create best-in-class plans and processes, acting as a coach across the business on everything PM-related.

**Who you are**:

- You’re an organiser, bringing clarity and focus to the appropriate things at the appropriate time.
- You know details matter, and your attention to detail is exceptional.
- You’re a calm person who stays level-headed under pressure.
- You’re a problem-solver with the ability to think on your feet, react rapidly to situations, prioritise your workload, and implement measures to improve procedures and workflows.
- You’re a confident and friendly person who cares deeply about the experience of attendees.

**Skills and abilities we're looking for**:

- 5+ years of demonstrable project management experience.
- One or more formal certification(s): Prince, PMP, etc.
- Strong experience using PM tools and in developing processes around their use.
- Experience working in an Agile framework. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in science or engineering would be ideal.
- Demonstrable experience in event planning, coordination or project management is a must.
- Experience managing multiple projects at one time, and of prioritising workload.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and accomplish tasks as part of a team.
- An MBA or Lean Six Sigma certification a plus.
