Reporting Financial Analyst for Research

We are hiring a Financial Analyst for our team in Airbus GBS Lisbon.

**Responsibilities - your mission**

The jobholder will be responsible for providing the single source of reference in terms of financial data for the Research and PreDevelopment perimeter. He/She will be the privileged interface for the Research and PreDevelopment Integrated Planning & Reporting manager and Research and PreDevelopment programme controllers, providing them accurate data and analysis for sound decision-making and enhanced business partnering.

The job holder will also play a key role in supporting the Research and PreDevelopment controlling model transformation, robust implementation and process definition.

**Main Tasks**
- **Financial Reporting**:

- Build and analyse monthly financial systems extracts (CUC/CCC), in coordination with the Research and PreDevelopment controllers and the Integrated Planning & Reporting manager
- Support overall P&L reporting in coordination with the Research and PreDevelopment Planning & Reporting manager and the Income & Funding manager.
- Carry out ad-hoc analysis to support understanding of the Research and PreDevelopment financial data and proactively propose improvement axes
- **Financial systems and Masterdata management**:

- Check data quality & consistency, perform analysis of deltas between IFRP & FACTS (or any other data source)
- Participate to projects related to Research and PreDevelopment Financial systems
- Improve and maintain the analytical financial data structure for the Research and PreDevelopment perimeter (costs by nature and costs by destination)
- Serve as Focal Point for any masterdata management related question
- **Controlling Processes**:

- Support reporting automation initiatives
- Support Finance Transformation projects (e.g. NRC Reporting stream, CapEx process harmonisation and documentation,...) in coordination with Research and PreDevelopment controllers

- Business Management education in Finance or other related field
- Basic knowledge of Accounting/Controlling
- Curious with a strong appetite for understanding & navigating financial systems
- Can-do attitude and deliverable-driven team player
- Autonomy, ability to work independently
- Communication skills are key, creating trustful relationships quickly in a remote work context and maintaining a broad network within the Controlling and Accounting community
- Language: English fluency mandatory
- Mastery of Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
