JOB DESCRIPTION:
To maintain cleanliness and hygiene of all areas of the Clubhouse, offices, and designated areas as per the Hotel standard.

The Clubhouse Cleaning Attendant promotes a positive image of the Clubhouse to members and guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and responding to guest requests in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

KEY OBJECTIVES AND ASSOCIATED RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Clean all public areas in the prescribed manner while following department standard operating procedures
- Ensure security of guest changing rooms and privacy of guests
- Clean designated area including, but not limited to restrooms, public areas, stairwells, elevators, offices and banquet/meeting/ rooms
- Cleaning of offices within Clubhouse and Lough House includes dusting, hoovering, and restocking of amenities
- Handover immediately all lost and found items to Clubhouse Operations Manager
- Remove rubbish from storages and other service area and take to appropriate locations in the prescribed manner
- Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects, as needed including changing rooms
- Remove soiled towels from changing rooms and replenish with clean stock
- Cleaning of greenkeepers canteen
- Keep storages rooms clean, tidy, organized, and presentable at all times
- Refill the par stock of guest amenities and supplies within the changing rooms, toilets and other areas as required
- Perform spring cleaning duties or any specialist duties (cleaning carpets, deep cleaning etc.) requested by Head of Department
- Periodically checks all lobby and restrooms
- Restocks all supplies including toilet paper, soap and hand towels in lobby and restrooms
- Makes sure all surfaces are clean and tidy
- Perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, emptying carts of soiled linens, cleaning, waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash, insects and debris and emptying ashtrays
- Arrange all cushions properly on lobby sofas
- Reporting any damaged or missing items to the Clubhouse Operations Manager
- Responsible for maintaining a time schedule for cleaning of their areas
- To assist the guest with all queries
- Respond at all times in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleagues
- To report on duty according to the roster, clean and tidy wearing the correct uniform and name badge and ensure that all cleaning records and check sheets are signed both at the beginning and at the end of the shift.
- Clock in and out at the beginning and at the end of the shift and for all breaks using Alkimmi reading machine.
- Give on the job training for new joiners, guide and motivate colleagues.
- To attend departmental meetings and training sessions and to operate in line with the instructions received.
- To assist with inventories
- To ensure handling of equipment and supplies as per hotel standard - To use chemicals correctly. - To report any maintenance effective to an immediate supervisor or the Engineering Department. - To comply with the statuary and legal requirements for fire, health and safety, hygiene licensing and employment - To operate at full knowledge of the hotel safety and emergency procedures - To adhere to the hotel rules at all times Additional Requirements: - Most work tasks are performed indoors - Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment including buffer machine and hoovers - Physical mobility and stamina required - Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions Location: Primary location will be The Clubhouse, offices, greenkeepers canteen.

EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS (Mandatory & Desired):
Mandatory:

- Full drivers’ licence (to enable driving of golf buggy)
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English used in the workplace
- Ability to follow instruction
- Detail oriented
- Professional Attitude
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Ability to work weekends, bank holidays, mornings, evenings
- Courteous and friendly at all times to guests

**Salary**: 11.30€ per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Porto, Distrito do Porto: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
