We are recruiting for a leading electrical contractor an English speaking AutoCAD Technician to join their team in **Ireland**.

**The role is based in Ireland**

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Use AutoCAD and Revit software to produce collaborative models and associated drawings
- Liaise with Commercial Manager, Contracts Manager, and Senior Electrical Estimator
- Input model elements with required detail (graphic & data)
- Monitor/checking if there are any clashes - Producing weekly clash reports
- Coordinate and monitor Incoming/shared models
- Produce Images, Drawings as required by Contracts Manager
- Explore BIM modelling and creation using Revit and AutoCAD
- Coordination of mechanical & electrical elements and asset data
- Production of as-built drawings and model
- Production of Asset Information Model
- Produce AutoCAD mechanical and electrical schematics.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- An electrical background (ideally a Qualified Electrician or holding an

Electrical Engineering Degree) is preferred
- 2+ years' active project experience producing construction documents using AutoCAD Revit
- Experience with Commercial Building Projects, Industrial Plants and Data Centre Projects is considered as an advantage
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD 2D and Navisworks Manage
- Site Experience is desired
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers in order to secure competitive prices
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of competency in the use of MS Office packages
- Excellent verbal, written and numerical skills
- Ability to multi-task and maintain composure in a demanding environment
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent decision-making skills
- Ability to work as a team player with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude
- Eligible to work in Ireland/EU.
