Palmela site looking for a Assistant Plant Controller to be part of our Team

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**
- Gather information, analyze it and work with it in order to obtain the necessary data for the preparation of the Reporting and to detect exceptional occurrences of the month;
- Analyze the expenses incurred in fixed capital in order to monitor the factory's investments and ensure compliance with the budget;
- Determine the production costs of products and analyze the respective margins;
- Carrying out specific studies with the aim of analyzing some deviations detected in cost items and ascertaining their reason and value;
- Carry out scrap audits in order to confirm that the records are correctly made;
- Analyzing and tracking Manufacturing Costs;
- Prepare the annual budget for Operating Costs / area;
- Analyzing and tracking actual Operating Costs/area;
- Analyze deviations monthly;
- Follow up and report on KPI's;
- Follow up on Debit Notes received from customers;
- Ensuring the reliability and maintenance of the Purchase Order database (actual versus budget)
- Perform manual invoicing preparation and follow-up.

**Qualifications**

Minimum education level: At least Bachelor in Management or Economics.

Skills And Competencies
- Good level of written and oral English
- Computer knowledge from the user's point of view, preferably in BPCS and SAP.
- Technical Skills: Good knowledge of Accounting.
- Specific Knowledge: Does not require specific knowledge.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- International mindset

- Entrepreneurship mindset
- Ability to work in matrix organization
