Job Description Summary

The role is crucial in providing support to the Performance Specialties (PS) Americas sales team and ensuring a seamless sales process. The Sales

Support Specialist will play a key role in coordinating sales activities, managing customer interactions, and assisting in a wide range of administrative sales duties that contribute to the overall success of the sales department.

**Job Description**:
RESPONSIBILITIES

You update, maintain, and revise direct customer pricing based on requests from marketing and sales. This includes, maintaining the PS Americas pricing list and distributor list pricing databases, writing and sending price letters and maintaining distributor rebate and price supports. Additionally you will verify monthly distributor rebates and ensure that they are processed in a timely manner.

You work with DIG and Customer Service to solve any issues (Ranges from pricing issues to JDE issues to freight issues, etc.)

You help manage customer inquiries and notification e.g through Mail merges (whether for price increase, packaging change, product spec changes etc.) or through processing and shipping literature requests from customers, sales and distributors

You conduct the day to day management of sample processes. This include activities such as; leading the follow-up processes for the sales team, distributors and tech service, processing and entering sample inquiries into the Elementis Website, setting up new products and the daily review and approval of sample requests. It also includes following up on sales with customers, the sales team, and distributors. The coordination of the PS Americas sample needs, including the analysis of the re-supply and working with supply chain to enter the re-supplies in the system is crucial.

You co-ordinate and own the data updating process for the monthly forecast for Performance Specialties, Americas and work with Supply Chain to resolve supply and/or demand issues You work closely with Product Stewardship and Procurement team to ensure timely issuing and sending of USMCA (former NAFTA) product certificates to customers.

DECISION MAKING

You can make decisions related to best practices of managing internal meetings and ways of working to get the proper updates required to successfully suport the Sales Teams and ultimately achieve business results. Higher-level approvals are required for those related to significant business decisions

JOB COMPETENCIES

Communicates effectively: Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams enables you to be articulate when working with other areas of the company. For example, working with Customer Service to resolve sales-related issues and Supply Chain to resolve supply/demand related issues.

Action oriented - Since much of the role is spent working independently, taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency is key to ensure prices, rebates and samples are processed in a timely manner. This is crucial to ensure efficient sales operations in the Americas region.

Plan and align: Planning, aligning and organization is crucial in managing the multiples tasks and projects this role will have to undertake at once. It enables you to execute the tasks with precision, maximize productivity and achieve desired outcomes. Flexibility will be key in addressing every day changing priorities and demands of the role.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Experience should include a strong customer orientation and demonstrate flexibility in addressing changing priorities and demands.

Demonstrated ability to function in an action-oriented environment, which is dependent on cross-functional cooperation is imperative.

Solid interpersonal and communication skills in both written and verbal form are essential

Knowledge of the Coatings and Talc industry is a plus

Additional Job Description

Education: Technical or Bachelor degree preferred but not required.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, supply chain and/or product management

IT Skills: Intermediate computer software capabilities like MS Office JDEdwards, Sales Force, Oracle, SAP, Demantra, and Tableau are a plus.

Language Skills: Verbal and written fluency in
