Adecco Recruitment is recruiting for a prestigious shared service center in the financial sector based in Porto, that is currently looking for an **Finance Manager (M/F)**.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the Country Finance/Operational Team(s) in commercial decision making;
- Analyze and identify any financial or commercial trends or insight to optimize decision making and/or improve performance;
- Understand contract requirements, key levers, and process and when to use them and ensure contract compliance to the commercial/financial terms;
- Ensure that Client Reporting Platform (Power Bi) shows reliable financial data in compliance with the contract;
- Ensure proper governance and delegation of authority on all types of spend (IFM, non-IFM, core and discretionary, special & emergency, projects);
- Ensure adequate, automated, documentation and speed of execution of change control process, including client budget review;
- Continually demonstrating to the client, the true value added by Sodexo in supporting their business needs, for example, but not limited to savings;
- Regular updated tracking of full year forecast costs by workstream versus Budget and work with account site teams to drive saving initiatives and change controls;
- Providing monthly spend reports versus budget and forecast to Operational leadership, identifying specific gaps and addressing issues with operations;
- Tracking improvement and cost reduction initiatives in line with budget commitments;
- Follow-up on operational performance metrics (KPIs), early warning issues and corrective action plans;
- Optimizing revenue and profit opportunities across the account;
- Working alongside operational colleagues to ensure ownership across the account and improving their business and commercial acumen;
- Share and develop best practice around innovation (ability to monitor and report) and cost control;
- Develop and implemente Tools and processes to support the deployment of the commercial model;
- Change management process and associated reporting across the account.

**Profile**
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent within a comparable financial role ideally within the services industry (preferred);
- Proven track record in finance (minimum 2 years experience);
- Commercial exposure to be support and business partner to finance and operations.
- Experience of financial modelling;
- Process oriented;
- Experience of working across geographical boarders and cultures;
- Matrix management experience;
- Rigorous and analytical Hands on pro-active approach;
- Strong communication skills and proven ability to work in a collaborative way;
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken;
- English Fluent;
- Second European Language ( is a plus).
