**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
The IT Analyst I reports to the IT Technical Support EIMEA Manager and has primary responsibility for duties focusing on administering all IT-related equipment, supporting end-users, and providing timely reports to management.
- Working close together with the EIMEA and Corporate IT teams, in a matrixed global IT environment
- Supporting approved IT projects
- Administration of service contracts for IT equipment and services
- Assist in the definition of practice and process standards for the regional IT environment
- Responsible for implementation and ongoing support of those practices and processes

**OPERATION SUPPORT - CUSTOMER SERVICE, WORKSTATION, PRINTER, SCANNER [~40%]**:
Provide the first point of contact for users
- Resolve user issues on the first call or escalate as appropriate
- Monitor the status of user problems after escalation and follow up with the requester
- Provide status reports as required
- Support scope will include but not be limited to:

- IT equipment installation & maintenance (Desktop/Laptop PCs, printers, RF guns, LAN cabling)
- Move IT equipment around (e.g. Printers, Computers, Monitors)
- Perform preventive maintenance on computers
- End-user training
- Security administration on local area network and remote access users
- Disaster recovery procedures and system recovery, virus remediation, etc.
- Manage end-point security through existing tools and software
- Administration (load checking, system utilization, error checking and security implementation) on local/remote “server role” workstations
- Coordinate IT/Telco vendor system maintenance & troubleshooting
- Coordinate activity and remote implementation of required services using external contracting and service firms
- Work with external providers and contractors in various IT areas
- Support end-users in a manufacturing and office environments

**ON CALL / ROTATION IT SERVICES [~50%]**:
**PROJECT SUPPORT [~10%]**:

- Gather business requirements
- Provide local support & coordination for local, regional and global project activities
- Provide weekly status reports and give timely feedback on problems encountered

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor in BA, CS, or MIS
- Experience in the IT Support area as well as analytical and investigation experience on software IT diagnosing issues
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Operating Systems, and Applications, WAN / LAN infrastructure
- Hardware of PCs and peripheral devices
- VoIP telephony knowledge
- Fluent in English and Portuguese
- Service, customer, and team-oriented
- Well-organized and structured work ethic
- Readiness for business travel
- Teamwork in international groups

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Knowledge of Ivanti Management Suite
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of Citrix Director
- ITIL Certified

**PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT**:

- Office based role
