Risk Analyst

Responsibilities

- Annual and administrative review of files/activities and new/ad‑hoc requests and portfolio reviews covering credit and counterparty risks primarily taken by Global Markets within CIB, originating in EMEA, Americas and APAC regions (Asset Finance and Securitisation/Securitized Products Group team or Balance Guaranteed Swap Desk).

- Securitisation Analysis: analyze and assess/review the market, credit, funding liquidity and structural risks taken on existing or new securitisation related transactions, originated in Europe, US and APAC, under EMEA and Americas RISK Corporate Securitisation responsibility.

- Permanent Control: apply the relevant risk policies of the bank applicable to this segment; contribute to BNP Paribas operational permanent control framework; ensure necessary portfolio reviews are properly conducted by the respective business sponsors in a timely manner; undertake projects to address specific issues regarding securitisation related transactions; generate reports for internal and external purposes and ensure consistency of approach and data integrity; participate in defining the risk management framework for the existing portfolio.

- Innovation: participate in innovation initiatives for RISK Corporate Securitisation globally (ideation/POC testing), which may revolve around Natural Language Generation from unstructured format, AI, Data Visualization Reporting, etc.; contribute to projects improving processes from an operational efficiency perspective or enhancing risk management capabilities through technology‑led solutions.

- Credit Analysis: analyse and recommend decisions for existing or new files (securitisation and related exposures/structures using securitisation techniques) originated by the Asset Finance and Securitisation/Securitized Products Group (AFS/SPG) platform within Global Markets; conduct independent evaluation of the risks, challenge business assumptions, prepare RISK memo, agenda and minutes of credit committees, resolve follow‑up items/conditions of approval; participate in risk due diligence meetings with clients and servicers; undertake portfolio reviews.

- Coach junior team members and provide training.

- Support new projects and initiatives.

Profile and Skills

- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics / Finance / Accounting / Mathematics / Statistics or related field.

- At least 3 years of experience in Financial Analysis / Advisory or similar.

- Advanced level of English, both written and oral.

- Knowledge of MS Office Pack (Excel, PowerPoint).

- Results‑driven and able to deliver.

- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

- Creativity and innovation/problem solving.

- Critical thinking.
