IT Manager

MDx is seeking an IT Manager who will ensure a secure, reliable, and scalable digital environment for our global operations. This role is central to protecting our data, enabling productivity, and supporting the digital transformation of a company that operates at the intersection of clinical research, regulatory strategy, and health innovation.
Our clients and partners expect the highest standards of security and operational excellence. This position ensures that MDx’s infrastructure, systems, and processes meet those expectations every day.
Role Summary
- As IT Manager, you will be responsible for the administration, security, and optimisation of MDx’s entire IT landscape. You will oversee endpoints, cloud services, networks, collaboration systems, identity management, and internal support. You will implement strong cybersecurity controls, maintain operational continuity, and guide technology decisions that support MDx’s growth.
- You will work closely with internal teams and external providers, ensuring that IT services run smoothly and that MDx’s systems remain secure and compliant.
What You Will Do
- Administer and optimise Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure Active Directory.
- Manage all company devices, including security hardening, updates, endpoint protection, and asset lifecycle tracking.
- Maintain networks, VPN access, and secure connectivity for remote teams.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures such as MFA, conditional access, threat protection tools, and incident response procedures.
- Ensure adherence to backup policies and verify the integrity of recovery processes.
- Prepare and maintain IT procedures, security guidelines, and documentation for internal audits.
- Manage support tickets, provide clear assistance to users, and drive continuous improvement in service quality.
- Oversee procurement, onboarding, and offboarding in coordination with HR and management.
- Coordinate external technology providers and ensure the quality of outsourced services.
- Support automation projects and internal productivity improvements using tools like Power Automate and Copilot Studio.
- Assist with system integrations or API‑based workflows when needed, with support from external partners if required.
- Contribute to IT budget planning, cost optimisation, and long‑term infrastructure strategy.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Several years in IT management, systems administration, or a similar technical role.
- Technical Expertise: Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, device management, networks, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Security Mindset: Knowledge of risk control, endpoint protection, and best practices for data protection.
- Operational Rigor: Ability to maintain stable, secure systems in a fast‑paced, fully digital environment.
- Automation Orientation: Familiarity with Power Automate or similar tools is an advantage.
- Compliance Awareness: Understanding of RGPD principles and IT‑related documentation.
- Education: Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Language: Advanced English.
- Soft Skills: Reliability, problem solving, structured thinking, communication, and resilience.
