Overview

- Act as the first level of control (1B) in reviewing, advising, and validating KYC due diligence assessments for prospective and existing clients, ensuring all relevant stakeholders sign off.

Responsibilities

- Validate accurate data entry into KYC tools and ensure documentation format and content comply with due diligence guidelines.

- Refer to relevant team members or managers on data inconsistencies, suggest resolution methods, and identify root causes and training needs.

- Maintain high quality standards in KYC files according to the bank’s policies and procedures, and support the KYC Due Diligence team as a subject matter expert.

- Escalate and propose actions to line management to address identified risks and blockers.

- Oversee the full KYC file analysis to ensure completeness and consistency before validation.

- Ensure all processes during the final overview of KYC files meet predefined guidelines.

- Contribute to KPIs on quality, reviewing compliance results, and produce reports on control outcomes and improvement areas.

- Arrange, prepare, and document the Client Acceptance Committee (CAC) for final KYC file approval, and coordinate CAC meetings.

- Liaise with Compliance, relationship managers, and senior stakeholders for KYC approvals.

- Coordinate with KYC teams in other Corporate and Institutional Banking locations to streamline multi‑site KYC approval for client onboarding and recertification.

Qualifications

- Academic degree in Law, Economics, or Financial & Accounting.

- Up to two years of professional experience in KYC or Compliance.

- Fluency in English.

- Strong decision‑making skills.

- Proficient analytical ability.

- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

- Ability to develop others and improve their skills.
