Our Finance & Strategy team specializes in tailored solutions to address our clients’ complex and evolving needs – offering strategic insight and hands‑on support across M&A transactions, due diligence, capital raisings, private placements, and corporate strategy.

As we continue to grow, we are looking to hire an Associate to provide direct support to a Project Manager and coordinate a team of Analysts, contributing to the firm’s expanding business.

Description

- Join LGG Advisors’ growing Finance & Strategy team, with offices in Porto, Lisbon, London, and Madrid

- Support high‑impact consulting projects in areas such as M&A, Due Diligence, Capital Raising, Private Placements, and Corporate Strategy

- Work closely with the Project Manager and coordinate the efforts of Analysts/Senior Analysts on various client projects

- Engage in complex, fast‑paced environments with strong learning and development opportunities

Responsibilities

- Provide direct support to the Project Manager on ad hoc client‑related projects

- Coordinate and oversee the work of a team of Analysts/Senior Analysts

- Provide ongoing training and mentorship to Analysts/Senior Analysts

- Manage daily communication and troubleshooting with high‑profile clients (primary liaison)

- Handle day‑to‑day correspondence with clients and their representatives

- Generate client‑facing presentations, pitch‑books, data analysis, and financial modeling

Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the Financial Services Industry, with strong expertise in Corporate Finance and M&A, ideally from a Big 4 Consulting firm, Investment Banking, or Private Equity

- Fluency in English at a proficient level (previous full‑time education taught in English or work experience in an English‑speaking environment is a plus)

- Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject (Finance, Business, Economics, or similar)

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

- Strong interest in the financial services industry with a solid understanding of current market trends

- Advanced technical and analytical skills in corporate finance

- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

- Effective time management and the ability to work under pressure

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Self‑motivated with a proactive problem‑solving approach

- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment

- Flexible working approach and willingness to adapt as needed
