Position Overview
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing technical projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
This role will coordinate efforts between cross-functional teams - including engineering, product, and operations - to ensure the successful delivery of technical solutions that align with strategic business objectives.
In addition to strong project management skills, the ideal candidate will have hands-on development experience, particularly in SQL and C#, and a track record of creating effective proof-of-concepts to validate technical strategies and innovations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Strategy
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations that reflect realistic timelines and risk assessments.
Create contingency plans to address potential issues and ensure uninterrupted project progress.
2. Execution & Delivery
Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration across technical and non-technical departments.
Monitor project progress, adjusting schedules and resources as needed to meet evolving priorities and project milestones.
Utilize project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) to guide project execution and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
3. Development & Proof-of-Concepts
Leverage hands-on development experience to create and review SQL scripts and C# proof-of-concepts.
Validate technical feasibility and integration approaches by developing prototype solutions that demonstrate core functionalities and performance benchmarks.
4. Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing regular status updates, risk assessments, and project reports.
Liaise with external vendors and partners to align technical integration and ensure all deliverables meet agreed-upon quality standards.
Present technical concepts and project updates to non-technical audiences, simplifying complex ideas to ensure stakeholder understanding.
5. Quality Assurance & Risk Management
Oversee testing, quality assurance, and compliance processes to guarantee the integrity of technical deliverables.
Identify project risks early and develop proactive mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes.
Ensure that all projects adhere to regulatory, security, and quality standards.
6. Budget & Resource Management
Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while meeting project goals.
Track expenditures and adjust project scope as necessary to maintain budgetary constraints.
Mentor team members and allocate resources efficiently to maximize productivity and professional growth.
7. Continuous Improvement
Evaluate project outcomes and performance metrics to identify areas for process improvements.
Implement best practices in project management and technical delivery to enhance overall team efficiency and product quality.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and methodologies to keep the organization at the forefront of innovation.

Required Qualifications

1. Educational Background
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Professional Experience
5+ years of experience in technical project management or a similar role, with a proven record of successful project delivery.
Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex technical projects in a fast-paced environment.
3. Hands-on Development Experience
Demonstrated proficiency in SQL and C# development.
Experience developing and presenting proof-of-concepts to validate technical approaches and support decision-making.

1. Technical Proficiency
Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, systems architecture, and IT infrastructure.
Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and translate them into actionable project plans.
2. Development Expertise
Solid experience with SQL for database design, query optimization, and data management.
Proficiency in C# for application development, including building and testing proof-of-concept models to assess feasibility and performance.
3. Project Management Skills
Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Microsoft Project.
Expertise in project planning, risk management, and budget management.
4. Communication & Leadership
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams and resolve conflicts effectively.
5. Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking
Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain focus on long-term objectives.
6. Organizational Skills
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and process improvement.

Working Conditions
Typically based in an office environment with potential for remote work or hybrid arrangements.
Occasional travel may be required to meet with clients, or team members at different locations.
