We are seeking an experienced and results‑driven Technical Project Manager to lead the successful execution of data engineering projects in the Healthcare domain. This role involves managing a cross‑functional team of Data Engineers and Product Managers ensuring delivery of scalable, compliant, and high‑performing data platforms and solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in data platform delivery, strong technical acumen in modern data stacks (Snowflake, Python, cloud platforms), and a working knowledge of healthcare data standards, including FHIR.

Requirements

- 2+ years of experience in technical project/delivery management roles, with at least 6+ months managing Data Engineering or Analytics teams.

- At least 6 months of experience in the Healthcare or Life Sciences industries is required.

- Previous software development experience is required.

- Proven track record of delivering complex data platforms and pipelines using Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Python, and SQL.

- Solid understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, data lake/warehouse architecture, and cloud‑based analytics stacks.

- Strong familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) and delivery tooling (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).

- Exceptional stakeholder management, team leadership, and communication skills.

- Ability to communicate technical issues and solutions to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

- Excellent communication skills in English (minimum Upper‑Intermediate level).

Nice‑to‑haves

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Certifications such as PMP, CSM, AWS Certified Data Analytics, or Snowflake SnowPro Core.

- Experience managing teams across time zones or geographies.

- Exposure to AI/ML solution delivery is a plus.

- Experience in the Healthcare industry, including working with clinical and claims data, and applying HIPAA/GDPR and PHI standards.

Core Responsibilities

- Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of data engineering initiatives across the organization, ensuring alignment with business goals, quality standards, and timelines.

- Promote Agile best practices, implement project management frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or hybrid), and drive continuous delivery.

- Manage, mentor, and coordinate a team of Data Engineers and technical contributors focused on cloud‑based data platforms and healthcare analytics solutions.

- Own the planning, execution, and governance of projects involving Snowflake, Databricks, Python, FHIR, and related tools.

- Drive collaboration between stakeholders, including Product Managers, Engineering leadership, Healthcare SMEs, and DevOps/Infrastructure teams.

- Translate complex business requirements into scalable data solutions, overseeing architecture decisions and implementation strategy.

- Proactively identify delivery risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, and implement mitigation strategies.

- Provide regular updates to leadership on progress, risks, and key delivery metrics.
