The candidate will join the Solutions Engineering & Presales Department, as junior solution architect in Portugal. They will focus on a consultative selling becoming eventually the technical reference for key accounts and in charge of designing solutions to solve problems when the standard portfolio does not fit. These tasks will be done under the supervision and guidance of a senior solution architect.

This position reports to the Head of Solutions Architects.

Responsibilities

- Understanding the client's needs and requirements, ensuring customer satisfaction, and helping deliver customized solutions to meet their business objectives.

- Design and develop solutions (i.e., consultative selling) in close alignment with presales consultants that meet customer requirements, are feasible, cost‑effective, and aligned with the company's products and services.

- Act as proposal manager for selected clients and solutions, dealing with Delivery in Iberia and other Thales' entities and potential subcontractors to develop the proposal, design the solution, its cost model, develop the proposal, lead defence workshops, and ensure bid management process is followed.

- Play a major role in cross‑selling strategies by leveraging broad knowledge of all company’s products and services.

- Foster selected customers’ demand to achieve growth objectives, supporting account managers and helping prioritize solution development with a close and direct relationship with selected accounts.

- Gather and analyze data to help the sales team understand customer requirements, market trends, and competitive landscape to improve the sales pitch, and develop a roadmap for nominated clients.

- Computer Science Engineering

- Master in Cybersecurity

- OT/IoT cybersecurity knowledge and experience

- Cloud Cybersecurity knowledge
