Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our Inetum Team and be part of a work culture focused on innovation.

Location: Lisbon or Porto.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable full-stack applications in alignment with established technology roadmaps and best practices.

- Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, and system architecture discussions, contributing to both functional and technical excellence.

- Develop, maintain, and enhance end interfaces and end services, ensuring high performance, usability, and security.

- Collaborate with functional and globally distributed teams to ensure cohesive system integration, testing, and deployment.

- Conduct thorough integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to guarantee application reliability and quality.

- Implement SDLC best practices, emphasizing automation, CI/CD pipelines, and touch deployments.

- Promote code quality through peer mentoring, code reviews, and adherence to development standards.

- Proactively propose and drive technical improvements, adopting new frameworks, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency.

- Partner with central teams, architecture groups, and engineering leads to ensure secure coding and robust SDLC processes.

- Collaborate effectively with Production Support (APS) and other IT teams to ensure smooth delivery and maintenance operations.

Qualifications

- Extensive experience in full-stack development using modern frameworks and tools, with a strong backend delivery mindset.

- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and Java.

- Hands‑on experience with end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

- Experience with end technologies like Node.js, Django, or Spring Boot.

- Solid knowledge of database systems, including both SQL and NoSQL.

- Experience working in distributed Agile teams, with tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.

- Understanding of secure coding principles, functional design systems, and architectural patterns.

- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.

Nice to Have

- Experience building microservices and containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and monitoring tools.

- Familiarity with architectural making frameworks and functional requirements such as security, fault tolerance, and high availability.
