Legal Counsel - Commercial/General

We are looking for a driven, associate‑level lawyer with a hands‑on mindset, to join our international In‑House Legal Team and support operations in Portuguese‑speaking jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

- Drafting / revising Portuguese and English commercial contracts, terms and conditions, RFP submission documentation and similar legal documents.

- Supporting commercial teams in negotiation of deals and documents.

- Researching legal issues related to product development and regulatory compliance.

- Coordinating with internal stakeholders and external advisors to prioritise and manage legal matters.

- Assisting and participating in knowledge management and operational excellence within Legal, including preparing templates, guides, processes and tools.

- Participating in ongoing compliance functions and providing product advice as required.

- Upskilling, supporting and growing other team members.

Qualifications

- Practising lawyer with 5 + years post‑qualification experience in a Portuguese‑speaking jurisdiction.

- Professional fluency in Portuguese and English (additional language a strong plus).

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, high emotional intelligence.

- Experience working on international projects or with global teams.

- A team player, adaptable and eager to learn.

Location: Lisbon (some flexibility for starting dates)
