**Your Function**:
As a Junior Legal Counsel, you’ll be providing legal support namely in legal and compliance topics. As part of the Legal Team, will work in close cooperation with the Legal Counsel and Compliance officer for Portugal, and Chief Legal Counsel Iberia. This job is an ideal position for young lawyers.
- Provide legal support to upper management on relevant legal issues.
- Deal with general day-to-day operational legal inquiries from the business units/departments.
- Draft and negotiate contracts.
- Draft, review and maintain precedent documents and templates;
- Support in reviewing and drafting guidelines and policies.
- Provide support in compliance topics.
- Support internal processes operated by the Legal Team
- Stay up to date with changes to legislation, particularly in relation to laws, rules, and regulations that directly affect our business and specific industry.
- Be part of projects aimed at further improving processes and efficiency of the Legal Team.

**Your Profile**:

- Master’s degree in Law at a top University, an outstanding academic track record;
- Registration in the Portuguese Bar Association
- Relevant work experience in a law firm or in-house would be a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written English.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work largely autonomously with limited direct supervision.
- Team player.
