Team
You will join the Litigation and Legal Product team within the Business Legal department, reporting to Litigation and Legal Product Counsel.
Level
Junior/Associate profile with 2–3 years of prior experience.
Location
Portugal.
Contract
Permanent – full-time (36h/week).
Travel time required
Average 15% needed.
What your impact will be
- Support the Litigation department, coordinating paralegals and case management activities across different markets, with a particular focus on the UK market.
- Coordinate and liaise with external counsel to ensure effective case handling, consistency, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Legal Product team in reviewing and advising on the main legal aspects of the company’s travel products and related commercial initiatives.
- Support the implementation of internal processes involving Competition Law, Consumer Law, and Tourism Law analysis.
- Prepare and deliver guidance documents, templates, and training materials for internal teams under the supervision of the Group Legal & Litigation Counsel.
- Contribute to the development and optimisation of scalable legal processes that support sustainable business growth.
- Draft and review a wide range of international contracts, including distribution, sales, agency, service, lease, sponsorship, and confidentiality agreements.
- Provide legal advice on the regulatory and contractual framework applicable to the offering and sale of online travel products.
Qualifications
- Degree in Law; admission to the National Bar Association is a plus.
- Ability to work in a precise, pragmatic, and hands‑on manner; demonstrating a problem‑solving attitude.
- Perfect knowledge of English (mandatory). Proficiency in at least one of Italian, German, French, Spanish is a plus.
- Demonstrated excellence in organisational and project management, consistently meeting deadlines and effectively prioritising tasks.
- Proficient drafting skills.
- Confidence in providing support to both legal teams and business units.
- Capability to showcase commercial awareness and a deep understanding of business requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs).
