Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor technical teams, ensuring best practices in infrastructure architecture.
- Design and oversee hybrid environments (on‑prem + Azure/AWS).
- Coordinate and support infrastructure and cloud-related projects with PMO teams.
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V), networking, security, and storage systems.
- Oversee Microsoft (AD, M365) and Linux environments, including backup and monitoring.
- Drive automation initiatives using PowerShell, Bash, Python, and ideally Ansible/Terraform.
- Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues and ensure service reliability.
- Maintain clear technical documentation and support decision-making processes

Requirements

- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure roles and 3+ years in technical leadership or architecture.
- Background as SysAdmin / Linux Engineer / Windows Engineer transitioning into Tech Lead.
- Strong experience in project coordination or PMO-driven environments.
- Deep knowledge of: hybrid architectures (on‑prem + Azure/AWS), virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V), networking, storage, and security.
- Experience with Microsoft AD/M365, Linux systems, monitoring, backup, and recovery tools (Veeam, NetApp, Dell EMC, etc.).
- Solid skills in automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python; Ansible or Terraform preferred.
- Experience leading teams or mentoring technical staff.
- Strong communication skills and a solution‑oriented mindset.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Portuguese (both written and spoken).
- European Union Citizenship or Portuguese Working Visa / Portuguese Residency.
