Asenium is hiring Backend Developers with expertise in Node.js, Java, or Python for a remote position.

Location: Remote (Mandatory to be based in Portugal)

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend solutions.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs into existing systems.
- Collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and DevOps teams.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot and debug backend issues and provide timely solutions.
- Follow best practices in software development and Agile methodologies.

Requirements:

- 3+ years of professional experience in backend development.
- Proven expertise in at least one of the following: Node.js, Java, or Python.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken). Portuguese is a plus.
