Your Role

- Analyze, review, and negotiate complex technology contracts with clients, suppliers, and partners.

- Draft legal opinions on various topics, focusing on contract, corporate, and regulatory law.

- Act as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) for Capgemini Portugal, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other applicable regulations.

- Represent the legal department in meetings and negotiations with internal and external stakeholders, with fluency and confidence.

- Provide support on corporate governance and corporate structuring matters.

- Collaborate with business areas in an agile environment, proposing practical and effective legal solutions.

- Contribute to legal innovation initiatives, including the use of Gen AI and other emerging technologies.

Your Profile

- Law degree with active registration with the Portuguese Bar Association.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience as an in-house lawyer, preferably in technology or consulting companies.

- Fluent in English (spoken and written), with strong presentation and negotiation skills in an international environment.

- Solid knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and data protection (GDPR).

- Previous experience as a DPO or direct involvement with privacy and data protection matters.

- Experience working in multinational environments and complex legal structures.

- Organized, proactive profile with a strong interest in contract negotiations and the challenges of a constantly evolving market.

- Basic knowledge of Gen AI and interest in legal innovation.
