Manager - SAP FI-GL | Lisboa/Porto

Use your extensive SAP Finance and business process expertise to help clients transform and enhance their finance functions and internal control environments. As a Manager, you will lead SAP Finance transformation projects, manage client relationships, mentor team members, and contribute to the growth of EY's SAP practice. You will work closely with senior client stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions across SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations and business transformation initiatives. Your

key responsibilities
- Lead SAP S/4HANA Finance projects and workstreams from strategy and design through implementation and deployment;
- Manage project teams and supervise the delivery of high-quality client solutions within budget and timelines;
- Drive finance transformation initiatives and advise clients on best practices in SAP Finance and digital transformation;
- Facilitate executive-level workshops and engage with senior business and IT stakeholders;
- Oversee business process design, configuration reviews, solution validation, testing and deployment activities;
- Ensure project governance, risk management and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle;
- Coach, mentor and develop junior team members, fostering their professional growth;
- Support proposal development, business development activities and account expansion opportunities;
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor;
- Contribute to EY methodologies, thought leadership and practice development initiatives. Skills and attributes for success

- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field;
- At least 7-10 years of professional experience, including significant experience in SAP Finance consulting and transformation projects;
- Proven track record leading SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations and transformation programmes;
- Strong knowledge of SAP FI, New General Ledger, SAP S/4HANA Finance and related finance solutions;
- Experience managing project teams and client stakeholders;
- Demonstrated project management experience across complex, multi-stream initiatives;
- Strong understanding of finance processes, controls and digital finance transformation;
- Experience in business process redesign and SAP solution architecture discussions;
- Knowledge of Agile and traditional project delivery methodologies;
- Experience supporting sales pursuits, proposals and business development activities;
- Full English proficiency. Ideally, you'll also have
- Experience leading large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes;
- Knowledge of Treasury & Risk Management, Group Reporting, Central Finance or other SAP Finance solutions;
- SAP certifications in Finance-related modules;
- Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud and reporting solutions;
- Experience with SAP migrations, upgrades and cloud transformation programmes;
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, OCC or equivalent);
- Experience managing international delivery teams and multi-country projects.
