At the moment we are looking for the following candidate:

Data Scientist (m/f) - Lisboa

- MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (MSc/PhD in Data Science is a plus)
- More than 2 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or a similar role
- Proven knowledge and experience in Machine Learning, NLP, and text dataset curation
- Hands-on experience in coding for real-world data analytics applications
- Experience in NLP tasks, such as Text Classification, NER, and Information Retrieval
- Experience working with LLMs, OpenAI API (or equivalent), and RAG
- Proficiency in Python and ML/DL packages (PyTorch, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, Pandas)
- Solid mathematical foundations and experience in statistical consultancy
- Strong business sense with the ability to quickly understand use cases
- Familiarity with data engineering, modeling, and business analysis
- Fluency in English and Portuguese
- Experience with Cafe
- Programming languages like Java, R and C++
- Knowledge of cloud tools such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud
- Experience with MLOps practices
