You will be responsible to:
- Oversee and manage the entire installation process, from initial contracting to final supervision handover to user area;
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient project completion, ensuring they receive the adequate documentation and training to perform the work correctly, according to legislation and Hovione guidelines;
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met;
- Guarantee compliance with safety and legal rules, coaching all resources involved and liaising with authorities whenever necessary;
- Ensure the necessary resources, internal and/or external, to meet project plans and to deliver the expected quality on time and on budget;
- Provide technical guidance and be capable of finding solutions for unexpected challenges during the construction without compromising the design concept and the process functionality, quality and systems;
- Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and plans;
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process;
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management; report and escalate promptly any relevant deviations;
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of systems and processes.
We are looking to recruit a Candidate:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical or a related field;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in installation engineering, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry;
- Proven experience in managing subcontractors and overseeing large-scale construction projects;
- Strong knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards;
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Certification as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in relevant engineering disciplines is highly desirable;
- Spoken and written English.
