Bioprocess Technologist

Tasks

1. Enroll in our ongoing product and process development & optimization projects.
2. Work with pilot-scale bioreactors, upstream and downstream equipment and utilities.
3. Plan trials, prepare materials, and ensure proper sterilization.
4. Conduct in-process control during fermentation trials and downstream processes.
5. Perform process sampling and support IPC lab analytics.
6. Adhere to and suggest improvements for existing SOPs and guidelines.
7. Follow and ensure equipment cleaning, verification, maintenance, and calibration plans.
8. Ensure full process traceability, including maintaining detailed trial records and logs.

Requirements

1. Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biochemical or Bioprocess Engineering, or related fields.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the biotechnology field (proven working or academic experience is also accepted).
3. Strong understanding of bioreactor fermentation process design and operation.
4. Proficiency in controlling project timelines and ensuring timely completion of bioprocessing projects. Experience in managing is a plus.
5. Understanding the GMP and Lean principles and their potential to optimize bioprocessing workflows.
6. Analytical and creative thinking.
7. Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team.
8. Availability to work in shifts.
9. Passionate about sustainability and improving our food system.
10. Fluency in English (spoken and written).
